Replacement of Culvert Pipes
Having problems with your existing culvert pipes, not draining, clogged or broken? We can dig up the existing pipe you have now and install a new pipe that will drain correctly.
Many times over the years, especially the concrete pipes will tend to settle and sink more into the ground, getting clogged or even breaking, causing more dirt, gravel to fall into and clog it even more. This will cause the pipe to not drain correctly. The weight of the concrete, material inside will make it even worse. The only option is to replace it with a new pipe, to allow the correct drainage again.
We replace all culvert pipes now with the double walled corrugated plastic pipes. They last much longer than the concrete pipes and are much less in cost to install. After the new pipe has been installed, we can place the drainage rocks at the ends of the pipe to lock in any gravel and wash outs on the ends.
The existing gravel can be pulled backed before replacing the pipe, then spread back over the area again, once the new pipe has been installed. There can also be new gravel brought in to touch up the area too.
